1. Information Reclaimo collects
- Your Apple sign-in details, such as an account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address.
- Receipts you scan or enter, including receipt images and receipt details such as items, prices, store and date.
- What you record in the app, such as price drops you asked for and amounts you got back.
- Device and notification identifiers, and information about how you use the app.
- Whether your account has Plus, and any promo code you used. Reclaimo never sees your payment card.
2. How it's used
To provide Reclaimo, including checking your purchases for price drops and sending alerts; to maintain, secure and improve Reclaimo, including developing and improving how receipts are read; to provide support; and to meet legal obligations.
Price drop alerts don't show what you bought.
3. Who it's shared with
Reclaimo shares information with service providers that help run it, such as hosting, storage, sign-in, notification, analytics, payment and AI providers, who process it on Reclaimo's behalf. Reclaimo may also share information when the law requires it, to protect its rights or users, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
Reclaimo doesn't sell your personal information or use it for ads. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
4. How long it's kept
Reclaimo keeps information for as long as it's needed for the purposes above. Some information, including receipt data, may be kept after you delete a receipt or your account, in a form no longer linked to your account.
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app, in the You tab. This deletes your account and removes your receipts, price drops and wins from it. For other requests, email [email protected].
6. Security
Reclaimo uses reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. This website
reclaimo.app uses Mixpanel, in Mixpanel's European data region, to understand how the site is used. Every visit is measured and recorded. The data goes to reclaimo.app/mp, which forwards it to Mixpanel. It includes:
- pages viewed, clicks (including the text of what was clicked), scrolling, and repeated or unanswered clicks;
- which sections you reached, which questions you opened and which links you followed;
- the referring page, campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and the page and referrer of your first visit;
- device, browser, screen size, language and time zone;
- approximate city, region and country, which Mixpanel works out from your IP address;
- a session replay of every visit: a recording of the page as you saw it and what you did on it (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling), used for replays and heatmaps. Anything typed into a form field would be masked; the site has none.
The site sets no cookies. Mixpanel keeps a random identifier for your browser in its local storage, and the site keeps a record of your first visit (landing page, referrer, campaign tags) there too. Both stay until you clear this site's data in your browser, which also stops your later visits being linked to earlier ones.
Mixpanel keeps session replays for 30 days under its current service policy. Other analytics data follows the project's retention settings and Mixpanel's terms. Cloudflare delivers the site and processes your IP address to do so.
8. Children
Reclaimo isn't meant for children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.
9. Your choices
You can delete your account in the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete the information Reclaimo holds about you, or to object to how it's used. To ask, email [email protected].
10. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions or requests: [email protected].
