1. What Reclaimo does
Reclaimo reads the Costco receipts you scan, checks the items on them against Costco's advertised deals, and tells you when it finds a price drop you could ask Costco about, with the item number and the last day to ask.
It doesn't check every price at Costco. In-store markdowns and items sold by weight aren't covered, and a receipt that is read wrongly can miss a price drop or show one that isn't there. Check what the app shows against your receipt before you ask.
2. Costco decides
Amounts in Reclaimo are estimates before tax. Costco decides every price adjustment. Reclaimo doesn't promise that Costco will give you any amount, or anything at all, and it can't ask Costco for you.
Reclaimo is an independent app. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Costco Wholesale Corporation. Costco is a trademark of Costco Wholesale Corporation. Follow Costco's own rules and its staff's instructions when you ask.
3. Who can use it
Reclaimo is for Costco members in the United States with an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. You sign in with Apple and are responsible for what happens on your account and device.
4. Free, Plus and codes
Reclaimo is free to start: your first $5 in price drops is free. After that, Plus shows every price drop Reclaimo finds. A promo code can raise the free amount, once per account; codes have no cash value and can be withdrawn.
Plus is sold through Apple's App Store, at the price the app shows before you buy. Apple charges you and handles billing and refunds. A Plus subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Reclaimo account doesn't cancel a subscription. If Plus ends, the price drops you could already see stay visible.
5. Your receipts
The receipts you add stay yours. You let Reclaimo use them to run the app and to make receipt reading better, as the privacy policy describes, including keeping some receipts and their photos.
Only add receipts for your own purchases, or ones you have permission to use.
6. Using it fairly
Don't:
- add fake or altered receipts, or use Reclaimo to ask Costco for money you aren't owed;
- copy, scrape, resell or build a service on Reclaimo or its data;
- try to get around Plus, limits or codes, reverse engineer the app, or disrupt its servers;
- use Reclaimo against the law or against Costco's terms.
Reclaimo can suspend or close an account that does any of these.
7. Changes and ending
Reclaimo can change, pause or stop the app or any feature, and can update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; using Reclaimo after a change means you accept it. You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app.
8. No warranty, and limits
Reclaimo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It doesn't promise to be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, Reclaimo isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any price adjustment Costco doesn't give, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and Reclaimo, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app, its content, its maintenance or support, or any claim about it, including product liability, legal or consumer protection claims. If the app fails a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund what you paid for it; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple, the Apple logo and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc.
